This 8x6mm Blue Star Sapphire sits amid 12 CZ accents in 3.3 grams solid sterling silver making this an impressive ring! At the request of several customers, I have searched and located a small supply of Blue Star Sapphire. These are natural, mined stones. They HAVE been heat treated to help bring out the star, but the result is, they have a really good clean star. You get the best 6 ray star in either direct sunlight or with a penlight or small beam flashlight. The more concentrated the light source, the better the star. I'm really pleased with the results, and will be offering this stone in several of our nicer rings. A really pretty Sterling Silver ring, sort of a floral design -- very solid construction.
