The RIDGID 10973 122XL Copper Cutting and Prep Machine is designed to cut, clean and deburr copper and stainless steel tubing and fittings quickly and professionally. Cutting is performed by turning the tubing with motor-driven rollers, while a cutter wheel is manually actuated by a rack and pinion. Guide rollers ensure a straight cut with no tracking. For thorough cleaning and deburring, the pipe machine comes with a range of accessories. A rugged outside diameter cleaning brush cleans tubing quickly with minimal effort in preparation for joining. A core reamer easily removes turbulence-causing burrs. 8 optional, individual size brushes attach to a quick-change collet for cleaning the inside of fittings, and an outside diameter deburring disk cleans burrs from the outside surface of the tubing. Built for durability and long tool life, the pipe cutting machine has rugged cast aluminum housing and a powerful 1/3 HP induction motor that drives rollers at 300 RPM. For ease of use, it features an adjustable cutting handle to accommodate different diameter tubes, a handy built-in 1/2-inch incremental scale for quick and easy measuring and a built-in storage shelf to keep fittings organized. The machine weighs only 72 pounds and has a large carrying handle for easy transport to the jobsite. This copper pipe cutter has a 1/2-inch to 4-inch pipe capacity. Suitable for use with copper tubing and fittings (Types K, L and M) and stainless steel tubing with a maximum wall thickness of 0.065 inches (1.65 mm).
