Cupcakes and Corgis Lariat NecklaceBolo Tie

My name is Two Thangs and I make paintings where people give me two pieces of the outside world and I work with them to combine them into original artwork. This Larriat necklace / bolo tie is based on a painting I made featuring cupcakes and Corgis where the little Corgis act as sprinkles on the dessert. I have worked with a team to handmake these into bolo ties. The centerpiece is a hard enamel, the leather cord is gold with little silver eagle aiguillettes. I’m a bolo wearer myself and am always shocked at how few options you have to really show off your personality. There’s a lot of cool stones and artifacts but what about us with a little more panache? I’m hoping to bring this to the bolo world. If you’re just bolo-curious, I can tell you it’s an amazing option to have in your repertoire for when you don’t want a full suit but the occasion calls for a dress shirt plus.
