A cleat is used at the bottom of your flagpole to secure the halyard or rope and keep your flag flying well. To prevent theft and vandalism to your flag system, you should consider investing in our padlock lock boxes—especially if your flag is at an off-site location. WHAT ARE THEY MADE OF? The padlock locking box is made of sturdy cast aluminum, is 100% rust-proof, and is designed for long-lasting use outside. HOW TO INSTALL? It’s easy enough to install by mounting the lock box using the cleat holes. Install on top of the cleat and flag pole rope. This way, it can only be reached by employees or family members with a key.
