Enjoy our small-batch made, grass-fed, whipped tallow balm. The texture is light, allowing the balm to absorb right on skin contact. Our Unscented/Herb Infused variation is free of all essential oils, using simply tallow and organic olive oil infused with organic calendula and rose. We always package in reusable glass jars.

DO IT LIKE GRANDMA DID: Tallow–or rendered beef fat–is ancestral skincare. Our ancestors relied almost solely on animal fats to moisturize, protect, and heal their skin. Enjoy our light, meltable, whipped tallow balm as a contemporary nod to the practice of our forefathers. VITAMIN POWERHOUSE: Tallow is rich in vitamins A,D,E,K and B1 as well as stearic and oleic fatty acids and saturated fat. This yields a balm that is nourishing to your skin, but also highly shelf stable! (Variations in texture are common, due to these unadulterated ingredients). POLFACE FARM SOURCED: Our beef fat comes exclusively from Polyface Farm in Staunton, VA–renowned for pioneering regenerative agriculture in the US. Our tallow is 100% grass fed, nutrient-dense, non-toxic, and has only the lightest buttery aroma. We slow-render every batch on our homestead. MILD, CLEAN AROMA: Some tallow balms out there stink like the dickens. We are proud to offer a tallow that smells only lightly buttery upon opening–not beefy or off-putting. Enjoy clean, natural skincare without smelling like a steak (if that’s not what you were looking for…).
